Hey, I just got a Rossi 92 .357 carbine for $200.

I put 10 rounds through it tonight, and it had one light primer strike. I noticed that the firing pin is not held to the rear with any tension. Should there be a spring holding the firing pin to the rear, or is the firing pin normally freefloating?

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Great little rifle. I have one in stainless. Very accurate and easy to shoot. Mine was not de-burred very good inside. After tearing it apart and de-burring everything and lubing it correctly it's much smoother.
