Any one use this in a 300 win mag?

Do you like it?

Does it load the same as regular or standard 7828?

Where are you finding the sweet spot?

This is the first time I will be developing a load for this rifle so I have not used any other powder for it.

I am starting out with a 165 grain Hornady SST since I have some of those. But I will probably witch to either a interlock or a 180 grain inter lock.

I use 7828 in my 7mm STW and have found it to an excellent powder for use in a magnum rifle. Never used the new style powder but would expect it to work just as well. However it should meter great!

I've used it in my 7mm Remington Magnum and I really like it. I've found it to behave very similar to one of my other favorite powders, Reloder 22. There are slower powders available now days that will get you higher velocity (Reloder 25 for one) but I will definitely be using more 7828 SSC in the future.

Great question, I've wondering the same thing. I use only 7828 in 7mm stw with nosler 160gr accubonds, and have thinking of trying the super short cut to see if it flows better.
