Got these from the KTOG website, thought they'd be of interest. Not many have been shipped yet:

OK, I wound up going to a local indoor range for a quicker workout than I had thought.

I went through 4 30-round GI mags in 30 minutes. The first mag was used to zero the Trij at 25 yards. Using five slow-fire rounds for each try, I was getting groups less than an inch. At that point I was satisfied with how the accuracy was shaping up. Once I got it zeroed, I kept up the slow fire as the barrel heated up to see if accuracy deteriorated (ala the Mini-14). I was very pleased that it did not. Groups stayed tight. The last mag was 30 rounds rapid fire. As soon as the dot was on the bull I pulled the trigger. All rounds stayed within 4 inches.

The trigger is stiff, but breaks fairly cleanly. I am a bit spoiled by the NM trigger on my AR. You can tell the SU is lighter by the recoil - it's not bad of course, just more than the AR. The other thing I noticed is the heat. The handguards heated up right along with the barrel - by the time I carried it out of the range, the plastic was pretty darned warm! A little insulation might help, but this isn't a rapid-fire battle rifle so it is probably a moot point.

I had ZERO failures of any kind, and since I was limited as to time I used the South African 5.56. I figured if it could handle that, it could handle anything!

I am VERY pleased with this little rifle. I think this is going to be one of KT's great successes. Lighter than the AR-180B but with the gas piston, and cheap hi-cap mags and ammo everywhere!

I took mine back to the indoor range yesterday for more work at 25 yards. I fired five rounds to check sighting on my Trij Reflex - they were slightly high and right. Four were touching, one was out about 3/4 inch. Adjusted the sight and fired five more. All five holes were touching. Fired two twenty round mags at a rate of about 2 shots per second. This produced a two-inch hole on the right edge of the bullseye with four individual holes scattered close around the big hole.

I still have had no malfunctions.

I am very pleased and fully expect this to take the place of my AR.

WOOOooooEEeeee
Well took the Su-16 out to the range and the only thing that comes to mind is "WOW".. In about 80 rounds of Israeli surplus and various other loads not one problem with feeding or fte's. Even used an old Colt 20 rounder with aluminum follower to see if it would hicup. The only negative was sighting it in. It shot about 6 inches right and it took me about 10 rounds to get it where I wanted it. Hey this gun begs for a scope it is gonna be that accurate. At 50 yds I managed 1.5 inch groups with the surplus ammo off the back of my Toyota 4x4 tool box, not a bench rest by any means, and was firing as soon as I could aquire the target. The ser # is 001XX and I liked to never found it on the gun as it is under the handguard I found the # on the box and thought for a minute the gun was made without one. O'well.. Like I said before I also purchased the 3AT the same day and it really stole the show. At 25 ft it grouped better than my Glock 27 of course quite a bit of difference in recoil but I think both are gonna be keepers.. I'll try to post some pics of target and gun if I can figure out this new-fangled camera.
