Killed my first buck over the weekend!

After several years of only taking does, (because our herd is so young) I took my first buck this weekend.

Big bodied 5 point. Ok, ok maybe I should have let him walk, but I didnt have time to count tines! lol

I was barely able to make him stop in a good shooting lane.

There's a cookbook that i have that's "the tennessee outdoorsman cookbook" I know you're in AL so check it out and see if you might find a copy... it's got great recipe's for venison sausage and ground steaks.
