Just a heads up; with the disclaimer that I have no connection with nor received anything from these people yet so can not vouch for them per se.

But anyone looking for Killflash or similar anti-reflection cover for their rifle scopes, spotters, binos etc this looks a very reasonable alternative to the generally extortionate prices of the regular devices for sale.

These people will cut the honeycomb material to the diameter you require - which you can then push fit (or glue etc) into a lens cap. Good lens caps to do this with would be those open ended "flip open" type, or those with the "see thru" ends, so all you would have to do is punch out the "clear" piece. Or you can cut your own circle out of a solid lens cap.

Anyway, this is their website:

I have a killflash for my TA11J. I got mine for 30ish dollars and came with the scope and I really like it. Your link looks pretty cool and wouldn't mind trying it on my lower end plinking optics. The honeycomb looks a bit denser then mine but Im sure it would work just fine. Cool post.

Yeah, some of the ready made devices are about $30; but others are ridiculously high. I've seen many in the $100 to $200 range. The neat thing about this is that if you have one that falls into the extortion category or an odd size objective, be it for a scope, set of binos or camera etc you only have to get a precise measurement of the outside diameter of the objective end and they cut to size.

And they have different "cell" sizes and material thicknesses available.
