Kim has always used Perazzi.......her previous gun was stolen in 2008 from her truck, it was recovered a few months later. The one used in London is a newer Perazzi

She and her Dad did an exhibition shoot at our club back in 1999......she hung upside down shooting skeet while her father held her legs over his shoulders. Hit 50 for 50 upside down. Wish I had taken pictures of it.....super nice family.

The post-Gold interview was hysterically funny. She got in a good point about shooting being a lifetime sport, so she's got no plans whatsoever to quit. And her response to the question of "How does this medal compare to previous ones?" was to look down at it, and reply, "It's a little big bigger."

Congrats to her, and thanks to her for representing the best country on earth!!

I watched the whole match on the internet streaming. Was really cool. MAN those ladies are SMOOTH.. and FAST.

If I had 10% of their talent I'd be pretty proud. :)

Do they even televise olympic shooting competitions? I have never seen them air any. I did see a small blurb in between some swimming events about her winning the gold, that was it.

Also, where was the shooting held? England has extremely draconian firearms laws, and as far as I am aware, the English olympic shooting team can't even practice on their native country's soil. I would be VERY surprised if the English gov't allowed foreigners bring firearms and ammunition into their country, let alone shoot at stuff!

Click on the TV SCHEDULE BY SPORT tab and click on "Shooting." There's only about a half-hour of coverage a day, but it's better than nothing.

Don't believe everything you read on the Internet. While UK shooters don't have the freedoms that we do, long gun sports are still alive and kicking:

Handguns are a different story. This is probably what you've heard about:
