Same darn reply as usual...
Dave--If you don't have a reloading manual (or several) remedy that right now. Don't just take some anonymous yahoo's statement off the I'web.
As to "a good load" for deer or for target shooting, what works well in my rifle might or might not work well in yours. Rifles are individualistic in their "preferences;" that's why each shooter has to develop their own best load for a given rifle. (I think that's true, even for 2 rifles of the same model, with consecutive serial numbers!!)
I have a .300 WSM, and like it a lot, and it is accurate, but it's a Savage, where yours is a Kimber. The best load for the one rifle will probably NOT be the best for the other one.
FWIW, I'm getting results I like very much with a 180 grain Accubond, H4350, and a CCI BR-2. Works great on the bench, also completely removed 2 vertebrae from a deer's neck. Deer obviously DRT. Probably for target work I'll switch to Sierra Matchkings, but leave all the rest the same.
