I looked at a Kimber 84M Longmaster Classic in .308 recently. It was gorgeous and I thought it balanced quite well with the heavier barrel, while still being light enough to carry.

If any of you folks shoot one of these rifles, I'd like to hear about it - I'd like to know how accurate they are, and how much the accuracy drops as the barrel heats up.

Thanks,

Matt

I agree. Great handling gun. Barrel weight is not too much; just enough to add stability. It depends on what you are used to though. My friends hate the weight. I can not get anything to group less than 1.5" @ 100yds. It is plenty accurate for hunting. Mine has one season of 3 deer under it's belt.

Take Care,
Sean
