I have an older Kimber TLEII with the external extractor. This was my first pistol and has a soft spot in my heart.
I was reading an old thread where a couple people mentioned Kimber would swap out their old external extractor slide for a new internal extractor slide.
Has anyone sent their old slide to have it swapped out? Were you having problems with the external extractor or did you do it just to get the internal?
