While I don't own a Series II Kimber Grand Raptor, I do own a standard,
blued 5" Kimber Raptor. To be quite honest, it only has 'bout 300 rounds
thru it; but it has had 0 malfunctions of any type. I've had it since
May of 2005 and only shot Remington-UMC .45 caliber ball ammo in it. I
do not know how it will perform with my Magnus 200 grain L-SWC hand-
loads? One thing that I did do before using it was to field strip it and
lubricate the rails very lightly with Tetra Gun Grease. As I said, thus
far NO problems. Next trip to the range I hope to try the 200 grain
L-SWC's. Sorry, but I can't be of help with the different barrel lengths
of the Raptor or Grand Raptor series.
