Are there any conversion kits that allow a 9mm semi-auto to fire .357 Magnum?

I know .357 is a revolver round with a rim, but I've seen conversion kits that allow 9mm pistols to fire .22LR which has a rim.

Thanks

Nope, not realistic. If it did happen, it would have to be the other way around. As with the ruger .357/9mm convertible blackhawk, the gun would have to be built to tolerate the big magnum pressures first, and then worked to convert to 9mm. Not the other way around.

Not possible, for the aforementioned reasons and because the .357 Magnum round has a much longer overall cartridge length. And the bore size between 9x19mm and .357 Magnum are different.

Besides, if you want the rough equivalent of .357 Magnum in an autoloader, get something in .38 Super or .357 Sig.

I recall seeing 9mm adapters to allow firing through a 357 though--if the bore sizes are off, that doesn't seem right. (9mm is what, .36in?)

Coonan and desert eagle are a couple of 357 semi autos, but don't work with 9mm.

.357 Magnum and .38 Special are .357 inches.

9 mm and .357 SIG are .355 inches.

The Ruger Blackhawk that has cylinders for .357 and 9 mm has a .357 bore diameter.
