Lake City 06 deal?

Got a chance for around 270 rds of LC in 30-06 in the garand blocks for $175 , factory fresh stashed away and traded in at the local shop and I,ve got first chance at it. Is that a fair deal or abit high? FWIW, I just scored a 420 ammo can of WRA 7.62 nato brand new from 1968, the bando,s are serialed to the lot# on the can. This is from the same shop, makes my FAL very happy

That's almost double the cost per round compared to CMP Greek ammo (also on en-bloc clips).

Thanks for the reply, seemed abit high to me also, did not realize the cost on CMP ammo, I,ll have to look into them. Been reloading for my 03A3 and Mod 1917, just came into a garand along with ammo for it and was looking to pick up more when possible to add to the rat pile. BTW, that can of 7.62 , I got that in trade so no money out of my wallet.
