I'm looking to buy a larger (45 gun or more) RSC, looking for suggestions. So far I'm looking at the Stack-On 45 gun shown here:
I can get it delivered for about $1200 with no sales tax.
My budget is $1000 - $1500, with very little wiggle room above that ceiling. Push button/digital combination is nice, but not a requirement. I'll be storing not only long guns and hand guns, but ammunition, reloading supplies, and other firearms-related materials that I don't want kids getting into, so size is important. Anyone know of a bigger (or same size but better) box for the price range? I live in central Indiana, so it has to be online (including shipping) or brick and mortar in the area including 7% tax.
Yes, I understand the benefits of a "real safe" vs. a RSC, and some day I may upgrade. This is my price range right now, and I'm upgrading from a sheet metal cabinet. Plus I'll have a wide, heavy safe with at least a half ton of ammo and other material in it. It'll probably be difficult to tip over and pry open...
