I have been teaching a lady proper gun safety and how to shoot a pistol. One of my training aids is a Beamhit laser unit ( https://www.beamhit.net/consumersystems/110-interactive-dry-fire-system-slg44 ) that I have had for many years now. At the time they were the only company that offered a product like that. This lady would like to purchase a unit like this . I have looked online and now there are several manufacturers of these types of units. And yes Beamhit is still available. Does anyone have any personal experience with any of the newer units? If so, I would like your opinions and recommendations that I can pass on to this lady

I use ITarget Pro. Laser bullet goes in the chamber and you use a smartphone app to track your hits and whatnot.

I wouldn’t bother buying their target stand though, mine didn’t work any better than just propping my phone up at the right distance to the target.

edit: I haven’t tried it but you could probably save some money with the Chinese knockoff laser bullet (Pink Rhino I think?) and the ITarget app.

Just recently got the Mantis Laser Academy. Have barely scratched the surface of all the different drills it offers.
