I just got an internal Lasermax for my Glock 17 and noticed that the switch to turn ON and OFF was very tight. [For those who aren't familiar with the internal Lasermax for Glock, your slide lock release basically doubles as the laser's on/off switch was well.]

Upon installation, I noticed that the only time the switch was not difficult to turn on and off was when the gun was actually chambered with a round. Otherwise, you had to use the tip of your nail to press hard in order to turn the laser on and off. After doing several internet searches, I found that others had similar issues. Though some were due to improper installation of the slide lock spring, others' switches (like mine) just ended up very tight in spite of proper installation.

I contacted Lasermax and within a few days had a new slide lock switch and spring. Now the switch slides on and off fine, and you get an easy "click" when the weapon is chambered. BUT...

My only issue now is that the new slide lock that was sent is not black, matching the original Glock part that was replaced. It isn't a shiny silver, but it certainly does change the aesthetic of my Glock. Nothing major, but I was wondering if others had similar experiences.
