Just wanted to share a few pics of the latest holster that I made. It's for my N frame 625 4" barrel. It's a simple unlined holster with the belt loop right at the cylinder level. It carries very well and I think it turned out pretty good.

nice work love the color, you dye it?
do you use a stitch groover and an oversticher? also what kinda thread did you use? i use wax artificial sinew (tandy) myself, like the look, thickness etc.
great job very clean looking, and the revolver aint to shabby either lol

I dyed it using fiebings brown dye. I did use a groover, and an overstitcher was used to space and mark the holes. I inherited a few leather working tools from my late Father-in-law, and the thread was part of those supplies so I'm not sure exactly what type it is. The holes were drilled with a very small bit to make it easier to sew.

On another note, my Ahrends grips came in the mail today. They sure look and feel good. Can't wait to shoot it.

Total combo looks great. Let us know how those grips work out. I have a 625 that is flat out the most accurate revolver I own but I really haven't found grips that make me smile. Right now is is the alternate set of rubber grips that came with the gun. Yours look a lot better.

BTW, That holster looks great for a walk in the woods on a fall afternoon. Nice job.
