After a several year wait I got a couple this week. Seems like quite a few are stocking now. I Basically got it installed and put 3 mags down range pretty fast so this isn't much of a review but after being super excited for years about getting one this is what I've learned so far:

1. it's heavier than I imagined
2. It locks up pretty well
3. Doesn't seem compatible with the magpul ubr unless you are willing to make several modifications. One of those was because the stock side seems to be a little short. The magpul receiver extension that worked perfectly with my standard lower suddenly was too long to screw all the way into the law folder. It hit the buffer retaining pin and wedged it in place. If I backed it out the stock flops around. My buffer retaining pin is now flat on one side. The other is that the stock is slightly fat and it won't fold flat against the receiver unless you dremel off some plastic which I haven't done yet.
4. There is a carrier extension that you plug into the back of the carrier. Obviously this changes the reciprocating mass of the system. Too early to tell if this negatively affected reliability but I suspect its like adding an h6 buffer or something
5. It adds 4 or 5more screws for you to loctite and witness mark

I'll post back in another thousand rounds and see how I like it.

Anyone else used one?

well.... got more than 1000 rounds through it. realized i have almost 7000 through the gun without any maintenance so i broke it down today, cleaned it, replaced the springs, extractor, etc... and in the process discovered something about the adapter that i'm totally shocked i didn't realize before...

you can't pull the rear take down pin and lift the upper and remove the BCG. instead, you either have to press the button to fold the stock, then pull out the plug, then pop the takedown pin, or pull both takedown pins and move the upper forward

so, if you need in there quick, it's two extra steps

i wish they had figured out a way to add the extension to the buffer instead of the carrier

Thanks for the writeup. I've been wanting one of these things for awhile, and in a setup with the UBR to boot.

It sounds like it might go better with something like the CTR.

Also, I agree about the buffer extension. It seems janky, and weird that they don't extend the buffer.

Justin, I don't think you could extend the buffer and still fold the stock. I don't know why their extension just can't sit in the adapter. I don't know why it needs to fit into the bolt carrier like it does.

I have one too. I really like it. Pick it up and flip the stock out . Fits under the trusck seat nice and snug like. Yeah, theres a little effort pulling the carrier but like you said its been how many thousand rounds since youve done that?

wow, that looks like the perfect gun to put it on..... except your choice of brake would probably be loud even with plugs and muffs combined. i'd be afraid to shoot taht indoors

You put 7000 rounds on a gun in 20 days?

That's pretty impressive, dude. :)

no, no, no i have had that since 2012ish. however, for 2 yrs i didn't shoot it much because i was spending all my time with the bolt guns. i've put about 2000 rounds through it in the past 45 days or so, which brought me to about 7k total. i just meant 1000 rounds on it since i installed the law folder adapter

I've looked at these before, and they seem like a great product.

Thanks for the review, but needs more photos :D.
