Cuz I'm cheap and am partial to the leather holster I already have, I want to restiffen it w/o the use of medication!! Is it possible to save the old holster or do I gotta spend?:(

You gotta spend.

I don't know of any way to restore old leather to it's original stiffness once it gets oil soaked.

At best, you could dip it in melted paraffin wax, but it won't stay stiff very long.

If it's not oil-soaked but just work-softened, you can try to temporarily stiffen it by wetting it and letting it dry. It will eventually re-soften from being worked back and forth, but wetting/drying it will give you some temporary 'body'.

Acetone can help stiffen up a holster. It will remove oils and is frequently used in leather forming.
