Lee 3 hole turret press - spent primers

Am I missing something or why doesn't the turret press have anything to catch the spent primers like the single stage presses? I decapped a few rounds and those little buggers were going everywhere, never falling the same path twice. Does anyone have any fixes? I didn't see anything on Lee's website.
 
My Lee turret press has a plastic tube you attach to the bottom of the handle to collect the old primers.
 
That's how my old single stage was, it had a long hose that I could put a water bottle on. I'll have to take a closer look and see if something might be missing
 
The Classic Turret has the primer collection at the bottom of the ram (and into a tube). The Deluxe Turret shares the same base as the Pro 1000 and has a slot in the ram that spent primers fall out of (and apparently all over the place). :D

If you have this problem, you can try using a cover to direct the spent primers into the collection chute on the base with a piece of aluminum can - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=7561987#post7561987

I think the aluminum framed one doesn't have a way to attach a hose and you have to drill a hole in the bench to get rid of spent primers.
The cast iron model is equipped with a nipple and passages to send the primers to a container.
 
What I did was made a 'gate' around the bottom sides and back of my press from a soda can to try and keep them from flying everywhere and drilled out underneath the press so primers didn't get hung up. So far it seems to be working, I still have enough room to load brass and bullets from the front and only get a few stray primers flying off.
 
Here is my solution for a cheap Lee Reloader press I foolishly bought.

Removable aluminum box catches the primers.

If you don't prime on the press turn the ram around you have to put the shell holders in from the back.You have to put a deflector across the back works a lot better than coming out the front.My press is an old one quess you can do it with the newer ones.
 
My old Lee 3 hole turret had a small hole on each side of the ram to catch
about 40% of the primers.
My new 4 hole classic turret has a plastic tube attached to a hole in the ram & if you leave the primer in place will catch 99.8% of the primers.
