Lee Challenger Breech Lock Single Stage Press

Im loooking to pick one of these up.(Lee Challenger Breech Lock Single Stage Press)

will it load the 30-06 size cases with no problems.?.. I have and used a Lyman C type press for years,but when i load my 280 i have to push my bullets up into the die then pull the handle. would I run into the same problem with that size of case,,? I dont load all that many 8 mm and 280s. I load mostly for the 223..

I have one and it works great. I use it for 6.5X55, 7.62X54, 303 Brit, .223, 7.62X39, 9mm and 45 Colt. It is one sweet press.

save up a few more duckette's and buy a Lee Classic cast single stage.

They are stronger than you will ever need.

I have that press, love it. I don't load 30-06, but I don't think you'll have any problems with it. If I were to purchase a new press though I would probably go with the Hornady LNL single stage. It just looks stronger and has a bigger opening, I've not had my hands on one.

I love the bushings, they make die swapping a snap. No resetting, no fussing around with consistency. Snap it out, snap it in.

In answer to your original question, YES it will load 30-06 just fine. There is plenty of room for the '06.
