hi,i need to find out what to do to be able to install a lower power recoil spring in my comped 1911.i am left handed, the right shoulder is not strong enough to put force on it yet, doctor said about 6 months more.i can't handle not shooting any more.is there a combination of buffer and recoil spring set up that will work without beating the frame up.i have only run stock springs in mine, the one in it now is to stiff.thanks fellas.

what is it,and how does it work.is it adjustable ie. tuneable,or are there different reduced weights. also,we got lots of calls today about installing flash hiders on customers ar's,things are going to get stranger as the week goes on.

Paul you arn't taking about the Casino Pimp pistol are you? If you are, you will have to tune the spring for limp wristing.:D

yes, this is for pimp spec.i have been thinking(yes even i do this)about using lower power loads or trying a spring and buffer set up to make it easier to get faster second shots without the use of a second hand, just can't get the right arm to hold it self up for any period of time yet.and because i don't have the time and concentration to attempt to reload,i am hopeing to come up with a good end result.
