I have had my eye on a couple of Colt Combat Commanders. Now I wanna see more. So, lets see em.

A custom Colt SS, 25 lpi front strap, squared and checkered trigger guard, Birdseye maple grips from Scott Kolar, entire frame melted, interior package done, trigger breaks at exactly 4 lbs. Work done by Mike Chumelduka of All Custom In Sierra Vista, Az.

Here's mine - started out as a plain-jane Colt blue carbon steel Commander. After customizing and hard chrome it now looks like this:

Cobra Chrome was $150 + return postage. Same price as the Cobra Chrome. It's a little more if you want the barrel done too, but I didn't see a need.

I'm very happy with their work and Virgil Tripp is a great guy to communicate with. I am thinking of getting a Mil Spec and having him smith it up a bit. Going to be sending him a S&W M15 hopefully next week for a new paint job.

Mine was also refinished by Tripp Research. Fantastic job.

All the gunsmith work was done by an excellent local gunsmith, Marianne Carniak out of Troy, Michigan.
