Lightning bullets

Has anybody ever tried Lightning 55gr FMJBT bullets? Pretty good price from UP Ammo. I was wondering how they compare to the Hornadys. I know they're not match bullets but for 100 yard target shooting they're good for my purposes.

Never heard of them, but by the time you factor in the shipping RMR is only a couple dollars more @ 80.90 after the forum discount.
I have used RMR before and their service is outstanding.

Look at Lightning web site. They are a lead bullet caster. They do not appear to fabricate cup-and-core jacketed bullets with cannelure. Like a half-a-hundred other 223 fmj-bt sellers they probably buy from someone else.

So you need to find personal feedback from someone who actually shoots those specific bullets. Personally. Not 'internet' hearsay. Everyone else is probably just guessing.

ants, I did look at their website and the reason I asked the question here is to try and find someone who, as you said, actually has used them.
