I've got a G29 SF that I wanted to get a metal guide rod for and I ran up on Lightning products titanium rod and got VERY excited!! I was also interested in their titanium striker and safety plunger. Not sure about their trigger because it is a carry weapon and don't know how short I should go with the trigger.

I also discovered a few titanium parts on gun broker like pins but they also had a striker that was a fraction of the cost. Don't think I should skimp on the striker but its tempting at such a low cost ($22).

My question is does anybody have any experience with any of these lightning strike titanium products and/or the cheaper titanium generic versions around on gunbroker?? Do the lightning strike plungers and striker improve trigger? Thanks a lot guys!

i have a LS Ti Striker & Ti safety plunger. no problems with them. i've had them for ~8 years and thousands of rounds.
with the Ti parts, 3.5# connector and spring adjustments my trigger is a crisp 3lbs 9oz.

I just have the LS titanium plunger. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I can't tell any difference over the stock plunger. If I could do it again, I would not have bought it.

Thanks guys. I am really just looking at the Ti parts for the wow factor cause I know they won't reduce weight considerably but after doing some more research I have been seeing a lot of durability concerns. I know quack has had good luck with his, anybody else have lots of rounds down range from a partly Ti Glock?
