I have been learning to load for my shotgun over the summer. I cast the shot, run it in the tumbler for a day with a little graphite and then load. Use Green dot. Loads work great. On fridays I go to my dad’s to visit, help him with things. He is 87 and in good shape. Anyhow yesterday I brought the Linberta and the FN SLP. Really trying to learn more about them.
Shooting them back to back, one thing is clear, that $300 shotgun is a shooting machine. It’s lighter, the stock not as rigid, but it will cycle anything I feed it. I got the FN because I wasn’t going to trust my life to a 300 rifle and second, extra barrels and such, if you can find them for the FN are out there. I fed both mixed loading of slugs, hand loads, target loads, and other old, even paper rounds. One failure to extract on the FN. None on the Linberta. Cleaned the FN and back next to the bed it went. Will clean the Linberta today after I take the dog for a run.
Had a Beretta A300, didn’t like it so much. Gave it to a close friend who wanted it for birds.
‘Anyone else own one of these Linberta’s? opinions?
