Does anyone know where I can find replacement screws [to hold grip frame on] for the older 3 screw Ruger Single Six revolvers?

Even for one made in 1958? Is it one of those things where Ruger has used the same screws since they started making them?

Thanks for the reply! :)

Yes, they used the same screws on all three-screw single-actions up until the time the New Models were introduced in 1974.

At that point the two rear screws were changed.

But the front screw today fits all New Model Bearcat, Serial # Above 93-00000, .22; New Model Blackhawk; New Model Single-Six; Old Army, .45; Old Model Blackhawk; Old Model Single-Six, .22; Old Model Super Blackhawk, .44 Mag; Super Blackhawk, .44.

Ruger won't sell you screws for an Old Model that has not been converted and they will ask for the serial number to verify. You're better off ordering them for an Old Army and hope they don't ask for a serial. Or you could just order them from Brownells.

You're kidding me?! I'd soon keep the slighly worn screws in my old Single Six than let them neuter it. I may try Brownells then. Thanks Craig.

That's what I did. I needed to replace them on a Blackhawk and wanted to have some spare sets. I just ordered several sets from Brownells, along with some hammer/trigger/bolt screwpins. All of which interchange with the Old Model Single Six, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk and Old Army.
