Here is a link to the video H&H Hunter posted in his thread on proper response to a lion attack. Pretty cool video. Lion Attack

Boy oh Boy if that doesn`t get your blood running you are all ready dead. To put it all on the line and to feel the Rush, just one more time. And to know that You still had the sand to stand and be tested and not back up. Would be a dream come true. Just one last time, would mean so much to me.

On behalf of all the social recluses, I thank you for posting this.

I Second.
I was going to get my wife to try to find it FB. Thanks for posting.

That was close to, I wonder how the "typical" lion hunt goes.

PH and Apprentice PH both 'take a knee' and fire almost simultaneously, PH then administers a second round from the standing position (trying to move out of the way), it appears.

Did the Apprentice PH 'short stroke' his bolt gun when chambering a second round, or did I just miss the empty case being ejected, something about it didn't look quite right? Might just be the video quality.

Can anyone tell which hunter the Lion had selected?

There was a movie made back in the 1960's that showed a guy shooting a charging lion. He nailed it right through the spine but it was still going so fast it rolled him up but good. Facing down a lion charging through the brush is why God gave us guns in the first place.

The lion was bearing down so fast in this video that it was impossible to tell if he had one target picked out. Both guys appear to have shot it on the first try. The second shot was good for insurance.
