Purchased some Speer Deepcurl 38 cal 158g. (it's all the shop had) Am loading .357mag. I have win 231 and AA#5 powders. There doesn't seem to be any load data for them? And they are the same Speer part # as Gold Dots #4215. The Speer website has .pdf files with load data, but nothing I could find on 38 cal Deepcurls? One post I read says to use the data for Gold Dots #4215, but I'm not sure this is correct! Hope someone can steer me straight on this.

They simply renamed Gold Dot Hunting to DeepCurl...use data for the 4215.

I just loaded some of the Deep Curl using the same data used for Gold Dot. And to me, knowing that they have the same part # was a clear indication for me to use the same data.
Load and shoot them!

The Speer manuals lump all their bullet of the same weight together for their loads so use the same data for Gold Dots you find in the current Alliant on line or downloaded PDF if you don't have a Speer manual.

^^^this. Not only in .357, but all other handgun calibers as well. This is to avoid the confusion they had between Gold Dots designed for SD/HD and those designed for hunting applications. Altho Speer has a disclaimer stating to only use their specific data for their Gold Dots/Deep Curls, becasue they are a bonded/plated bullet as opposed to a true cup and core jacketed, their recipes for their 158 grainers in .357 fall into the same range as most other brands of 158 jacketed bullets.
