Did my part.
Someone on a past poll suggested that we go to vpc dot org and paste the address from there, thus the pollsters would see high number of hits from that site.

Question for IT types. Does this really work?
Seems like to me the IP of the orginating PC would show on log files regardless of the site currently being viewed and launched from.

For the tracking to show where you came from you have to click on a link from that site. Pasting the address in the address bar would just show up the same as someone typing in the address manually from a fresh browser. That's why it's better to copy and paste a link from here instead of clicking on it, otherwise the "referring link" will show up as that thread on THR.

In July,2005 I toured the State Capitol in Indy, packing.
No metal detectors,signs,guards,nada.
Have the Indiana rules changed since then?

Nope, been illegal to pack in State buildings since atleast 2001/2002 when I got my carry permit. Not sure about before as I never read the laws.

I don't think I've seen any poll by this newspaper have half as many votes as this poll does.
