Looking at this UNFIRED 09 CZ 550 FS 6.5x55 with rings and box. Seller is asking 850.00.
Do I need it? NO, Do I want it? NO Because it's there and it would be my 10th CZ.
I just like CZ's and I don't yet have a FS.
Forearm looks like the stock and is nice, but is it 850.00 nice?????

With that stock, yes, you need it.......

And, it is a great caliber.......

And, you don't have a FS........yet.......

Not bad price for the rifle, rings are 40/60 $ depending on the brand, haggle a litle to shave the numbers. Have the same on 6.5 swed. and 308 you won't regret it.

Well, yeah!!! That's the best centerfire cartridge for their full stock model. Davidson's has them in stock in .30-06 and my best price would be right at $800 (plus taxes, fees and background check) but wood quality would be a crapshoot. You already know that one has fantastic wood on it.

Yeah, if you can swing it, go for it.

Mine was $650 used with rings two years ago. It has nice figuring too, but not nearly as striking as what's in the picture.

If you photographed it well, I bet you could get your money back out of it. Especially if they'd knock the tax off for you.

I just picked up a new one for $775. Nice wood, but not as nice as that. I would say it's definitely worth $75 more to know you won the CZ wood lottery.

Short answer: YES! A full stock CZ in 6.5x55 would be like a dream come true for me. Haggle a bit to see if you can get the price down but you don't want to let this one get away. Post photos after you buy it.

Well it took a week but he accepted my offer and here it is.
Nice

NICE!

I wish my CZ had wood like that. Is that really an OEM stock? It looks like a very expensive custom stock.

Looks great! I've never heard of upgrade wood option in the 550 FS. I expect that's just a good luck-of-the-draw/wood lottery one. As nice as that looks with the factory "mud" finish, there's some amazing wood hiding under there! About the only CZ rifles on which I can manage to leave the factory finish intact are the Americans which come with a better finish than the others. The rest eventually get to visit the stripper. :)

That wood looks fantastic! Outstanding buy even if you initially didn't need it or want it. Too good to pass on that one, that's for sure.
