I would like to buy
2 or 1 pistol with a fixed barrel 9mm they can be threaded for a suppresor

also

1 .45 fixed barrel pistol model

And advice of putting a suppresor on a 1911?

All need to be semiauto

All must have spare parts available easy on the open market.

Yes I plan on paying the tax on the suppresors

Any input?

Heck what are the good wet or dry suppresors on the market now?

For a .45, there's the http://www.m1911.org/hogueavenger.htm upper for a 1911 which would look pretty good mated with an osprey suppressor.

Oh, and a Kriss Vector.

as for 9mm, except for older Astra pistols, all I can really think of is a pistol ar-15 for fixed barrel. But I don't have as much knowledge as others on here.

(I may be misunderstanding what you mean by fixed barrel though.)

Two of the best? HK P9S in 9mm and .45. However, finding the longer barreled versions (that you can alter and thread) is not going to be cheap.

The 1911 is not a fixed barrel design... but they are easily suppressed. Off the top of my head, the AAC Ti-Rant .45 and .45S have very good sound reductions both dry and wet and work well on a 1911 design.

To expand a bit on the last two posts...
The H&K P7M8 9mm is a true, both pressed and pinned, fixed barrel handgun. With a custom threaded barrel works well without a booster due to it's gas delayed blowback design.
Mark McWillis makes a nice adapter that allows the use of a QD 3-lug type attachment. There are a few minor downsides... the cost of the barrel (about $300 plus) and installation, and the fact that suppressed P7s tend to spit back particulate in your face, particularly when using FMJ practice ammo.

The H&K P9S in both 9mm & .45ACP. The barrel is, although easily removable, fixed in the sense that it is not cammed or linked downward but instead is locked in the frame upon firing... using H&Ks roller delayed blowback design. The US Navy used suppressed P9s for a time... and as already stated, they make an absolutely brilliant suppressor platform.

Cheers,
C

Glock 21. There are more aftermarket parts than you could possibly use. Most things are inexpensive but fulcrum trigger kits run close to $200.

High Points...
but I really think you want' a locked design....
It's more about barrel length, as long as the gun is set up correctly, you shouldn't have problems, you just need enough barrel to tread and make sure that the lock system can handle the shift in center of gravity.

Thank you all for the input.

If I recall correctly my old Star Firestar in 9mm had a pinned and pressed barrel. I may be 100 wrong on that though.
