Looking for a .223 , but not an AR-15 type.

I've got an AR, Mini-14, Kel-Tec Su16 and a Saiga .223
For playing around and just shooting, the AR is a lot of fun, but for a "truck gun", I prefer rifles without pistol grips, so the Mini or Saiga get the nod when it comes time to go for a ride.
The Kel Tec is a fun enough rifle, I just don't get it our very often

I really like the Saiga's. Have one in 7.62x39 and one in 223. Haven't done any conversion to put a pistol grip on them as they handle fine in their stock configuration. The Saiga's are absolutely reliable and built to handle the worst of outside conditions. I haven't tracked their prices too much but think they went thru increases as the AR's did recently. I paid 199.00 for each of mine but that was at least 10 years ago.
