Looking for a Range in TX

Any help on a rifle range in San Antonio, Tx. I live on the Westside. By 1604 and Sea World....

You're right near me. Try the Bullet Hole, just past 1604 and 90.

I live near 1604 and Braun, so I'm in the same general area. The Bullet Hole's rifle ranges suck. The 100yd and over range is mounted on wooden stilts and it wobbles whenever anyone moves around on it. The movement is severe enough that it makes sighting in your gun a nightmare. Moderate wind even cause some movement. The 50yd rifle range sucks too, they have a 4sec between shots rule and there are only 4 stations. I never shoot rifles at this range anymore. The pistol range is okay though, if you don't reload.

A Place to Shoot rifle ranges are MUCH nicer, well worth the few extra miles to get there. Also, Blackhawk is also nice, although a little bit of a drive. These days, overall, I much prefer A Place to Shoot over The Bullethole. Bracken range is more of a drive to the east on 1604 but they have excellent rifle ranges there.

If you're willing to drive a little farther, Dietz's Gun Range in New Braunfels has a 25-yd pistol range, and a rifle range with targets/berms set up for 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards.

Cedar Ridge off of 1863 near Bulverde is a nice range.

$10.00, all you can shoot.

Dietz's is OK as well, pistol range is a little sketchy but lots of hunters sight in there.

Are there any ranges in the area that will allow you to shoot prone, kneeling, offhand, etc? I hate bench shooting....
