I recently bought a primary arms 1-6 scope. Part of the deal was that I got an optics planet gift card with it, which I used to get a primary arms scope mount. Since I got the mount it’s been nothing but trouble: wouldn’t tighten down on my rifles pic rail, tinkered with it, removed a washer in the mount, which got it to tighten down, but then it shook loose as I was sighting it in.
I’m wondering the following: is there something I’m missing about attaching the scope mount to the rail? In the event my mount is unsalvagable what scope mounts do you recommend for a low power variable optic? Quick detach is a bonus but not necessary. Would like to stay under $100 (the lower the better) since it’s only a $250 scope.
