The Charles Daly DOES NOT like the Winchester AA light trap loads. It will not cycle the action. I basically had to shoot them single shot. But I expected that, I just wanted to try them anyway. After trying to get about 10 of them to cycle, I put some Kent #4 heavy game loads in it and it ate them up! Again, Not a problem. Im seeing other posts from people that are having problems with Benelli's, Remingtons and other quality name brand guns. Sometimes even the name brands have problems. Again the recoil pad sucks on this gun but it continues to shoot. Im buying a slip on Limbsaver recoil pad this weekend.
Im not going to tell anyone to go out and buy a Charles Daly. All I'm saying is that the one I bought seems to work well. Make your own conclusions.
