I just was givin a Herters reloading press, and it is missing the primer pocket holder. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy one. Thanks in advance:)

I occasionally see herters parts on ebay. They have been out of business a long time and parts are hard to find.

There's fellow named Ed Sager, lives at 4305 NW 51st Street, Parkville, MO 64151.

Few years back I bought a Herter's Big-O-Maximum press from him. He has quite a lot of Herter's equipment.

Get on the phone and ask information for his phone number.

The Vega tool site has it. Its the primer post arm assembly. :eek:WOW, wasn't expecting it to be that much. I might have to try to cut one outta some scrap metal, and drill it out.:scrutiny:

I've got some Herter's primer post arms, think I have both large and small primer...plus some other brands...complete assembly $20.00 each, better than paying $38.00 at Vega tool Co. plus $3,00 postage.

My price free postage.

I need Herter shell holders, any size...willing to trade.

Jim

let me get back to you 44and45. I need to go through the dies I am getting and see what shell holders I'm gonna have and then need. I'll PM you.

Also, could you PM or post a picture of the arms you have so I can see 'em. Thanks.

It may be cheaper to buy new equipment (unless you already have some newer stuff and just happened to get ahold of the herters).
