Hey! I just got a new Glock 23 and I wanted to know whats a good IWB holster for concealment and comfy. I mostly wear a white T-shirt and a polo thats nice and snug fitting for my Muscular Fizzzzzziek. Most of my pants are kinda loose after toning up for the summer.

Any Idea on a good IWB would be great.

I think the BearClaw Holsters 'Hidden Asset' is a great IWB. It's fast, well crafted, and thin. Anything not needed is shaved off so it has less surface area than most IWB's. Less is more concealable.

Kevin at K&D Holsters makes a great leather IWB well worthy of consideration:

That Glock 23 is a great all around gun - lots of fire power and concealable.

I've had a Galco Royal Guard for a while, it's great but I'm not fat enough to carry a heavy gun (P229) IWB.

Good luck with your Lance Armstrong shirts, I had to stop working out because my wife said my enormous traps were grossing her out.:D

For a tuckable IWB I like Galco. I also like the Blackhawk leather IWB. Nice leather italian made holster. Don't know how it will hold up long term but it's very comfortable and reasonably priced.

IMO the best deep concealment IWB is the Tucker Gun Leather The Answer IWB with C Clips.

Behind that I would probably use the Comptact CTAC similar to the Tucker except without the leather against the body. Comptac OTOH has much less of a back log, often only taking two days to get an order shipped.

For magazines the only tuckable one I have found was from Bearclaw, and they are fairly cheap:

Not saying they are any better than others but my Milt Sparks VM2 and the CTAC slide are the best IWB's that I've found for my various Glocks.

I'm very pleased with the UBG (Ugly Bald Guy) "Canute," a IWB with fore and aft belt loops and a body shield, for my S&W MP9C. http://ubgholsters.com/IWB.html It is quite comfortable after the "ears" started conforming to the shape of my hip. I learned of him on these very pages. :)

I'm also interested in a rig from Brigade Gunleather http://brigadegunleather.com which I also discovered on this board.

Recommending a holster is like recommending a Gun. Personal preferences. Have to keep trying until you find what works best for you. I have a dozen or more holsters, and the one that works best for my CCW is the Milt Sparks VM2. I wear it with a untucked shirt, but it can be worn with a tucked shirt.

I am also a big fan of the Milt Sparks VM2 and belt, though I might consider the Milt Sparks Watch Six for a Glock if I planned to carry untucked since the Watch Six is cheaper and a bit thinner. With the square slide lock-up, Glocks are already thick and can benefit from a nice slim holster.

+1. What I like, you may hate.
I've looked hard and spent lotsa money searching for that perfect holster.
IMO, it does not exist but the search is on-going.
I carry daily and with the weather (summer & winter) in Okla. I've reduced the holsters that I currently use to a pocket holster for S&W 642, an OWB and IWB for Glock sub-compact. Works pretty well for me regardless of how I'm dressed.

Having tried any number of rigs for concealed carry I've finally settled upon the GALCO SkyOps with the 1.5 inch Y-Clip. The standard 1.25 inch clip is fine for dress belts but the 1.5 inch affords a better, more solid feeling connection IMHO. It handles my SIG P220 just great and is truly comfortable to wear all day long. Have a day.

Hey! THanks for all the replys ya'lllllllllllllllll I'm VERY sorry for not replying to any of your advises when posting a question.

RIght now I'm looking at the COmp-Tac "Infidel" holster. Doe anyone know how good it is, or have used it or currently using it?

2nd is the Blade-Tech which I dont hear much about. Its a Local Company in my area so it be QUICK and easy to get one strait from them. If so which one? the ULtimate Concealment or the IDPA Approved holster?

THanks for any Replys!

This is the one I just got and I love it. It is my first IWB so I cant help you with the rest of them.

I would suggest getting to know ppl at your local gun range. They might let you try on one of theirs to let you get a feel. That way at least you somewhere to start.

GOOD LUCK
