Looking for Tuckable IWB Holster...

Howdy All!

As the title suggests, I am gathering opinions regarding a new tuckable IWB holster for my Glock 23 (strong-side carry). Trying to find answers using any combination of these terms in the search function becomes very tedious, very quickly (but I did give it a go.).
I am not partial to either leather or Kydex, however being a sweaty beast at 6'1" and 255 lbs and living in Florida, Kydex might be more, um, appropriate (read: "less stinky").
There are two which seem to be ideal (in theory) that I had previous knowledge of:
Comp-Tac "CTAC IWB"
G-Code "Comfort Carry IWB"

And two that are new names to me:
Brommeland Gunleather "Max Con V"
Crossbreed Holsters "Supertuck"

I am aware of some others like the Milt Sparks VM and Alessi, but those are unfortunately out of my league, pecuniarily speaking, and I'm not so sure about waiting half a year either. When worn, it'll be on all day most likely, and driving will probably be likely as well.

Get the CTAC. I've got it and it's worth every penny, it's 'doing it right the first time'. It doesn't shift when placed where you want it, and it won't rock out of position. It has good (and adjustable) retention and a smooth drawstroke. It's also, as you noted, tuckable. I have only used this feature once, however, since mine is built for my 5" 1911, which just weren't made for tucking. It's also all extremely flat and concealable.

From time to time sitting with it, like in the car, can lead to your side being a bit sore. I'd think this has more to do with the fact that I'm carrying a full size gov't model than with the holster, however.

It's good stuff, an easy choice. Goferit.

Go to www.desantisholster.com. I've recently purchased my second "Tuck This" holster from them. I have one for my 1911 and it works great, but the pistol is just too heavy for my preferences. I bought the second one for my Kahr CW9 and it is a jewel. One note, a IWB tuckable holster works better if you don't put on 15 pounds over the winter like I did.

These aren't Kydex or leather. Ballistic nylon with a slight foam filler. I suppose you could wash it without too much trouble. The retainer clip is position adjustable so any cant you want is possible.

I absolutely HATED this holster. I bought it for my XD-9 SC. It'll probably work great for really light pistols, but i'm guessing you'll find it a bit flimsy for your G23.

I've got the CTAC and it works great for carrying behind the hip, but my XD pokes me in the side if I carry it at 3:00. It's also impossible for me to carry anything behind my hip while I drive in my car, so I'm going to try the "Tucker Answer" next.

I have a C-TAC for every gun that I carry. IMHO the perfect holster. Does everything a good holster should do, and then some. With this holster, I am able to carry a full sized auto with just a T-shirt for cover.

And the fact that they have a money back guarantee if you don't like it, and that their customer service is outstanding doesn't hurt one bit.

Also take a look at Blade-Tec's "Ultimate Concealment Holster" (UCH). I've used one for years, but I gather they've redesigned it since I bought mine. Still, it's a good company to deal with and I've been very happy with it.
