But not sure which one would be best, .308 or .223. Rounds would be used in either a DSA FAL or a Czechpoint vz-58 .223 with AR mag adapter.

I currently load and cast for 7.62x39mm, 9mm and 38 Spl. Does anyone here know of a cast bullet for .308 that would work well in an FAL? I already cast for my 7.62x39mm vz-58, so I am assuming I could get similar results in the .223 version.

Both calibers have scads of military brass roaming around, and I would probably have to get a Dillon Super Swage no matter which one I get into, correct?

Just curious what people here think, even if you scratch your head at the thought of loading cast bullets for a semi-auto rifle. Also planning on using bulk FMJs too, if they can be found cheap.

Any favorite loads for either calibers using common components?

Thank you for any replies.
