Looking to store some buck long term.

The .50 ammo can is it, I bought 1000 rounds of S&B 00 buck just before the Y2K fiasco. I used 400 of those rounds over the years with Louis Awerbuck courses, but have refilled the expended rounds with Brenneke KO rounds on sale. I think modern shotshells will last way over 50 years if not exposed to high or very low temps. I have shot recently paper shells from prewar and they went off fine.

Got a couple of these 50 rd cans. I can seem to fit about 150 in each snugly. They work fairly good and seal up tight so I'm happy. Only gripe is I wish I could find something that held 250 or sore just as snug.

My method is the plastic dry boxes (MTM) inside a .50 cal ammo box with one of those little silica gel packets thrown in the bottom. As long as the seal is good on the ammo can there should be no issue.
