lubrication question..,

I am getting ready to reload a bunch of 6mm Remington. My question is about lubrication of the cases. So, once I have rolled the cases on the pad and put them through the reloading procedure, how do I remove the lube? It seems to me that any trace of lube should be removed before firing the ammo or am I overthinking this stuff.
 
Media tumbler for about 30 minutes after cases have been sized. Then load after tumbling. If they are already loaded then I don't have anything for you on that one other than wiping by hand. Some say its ok to tumble loaded rounds , but I am not one of them.
 
I use the old fashioned RCBS or LEE lubing grease. Others use spray on stuff and still others use wax.

After I size and deprime, I run my brass in a water/dawn soap/steel pin mix in my tumbler. It cleans the primer pockets and in-sides of the cases. A rattle tub would clean as well. If you are only dealing with a very few cases, a paper towel will do.
 
Thanks for the quick responses! I will get a tumbler and some media. I will continue to hand wipe each one, until I get better set-up. Thanks again.
 
I've heard that you can put them in the tumbler after they are loaded for a short time (10-15 min), but I have never done it myself. I've read several threads where people have done this.
 
I always wipe them off - I don't like tumbling deprimed cases because media in the flash holes causes more work than hand wiping. Once they are primed I would worry about primer contamination (also possibly blocked flash holes), and I'm just not comfortable tumbling loaded rifle ammo.
 
I use the RCBS lube, pad and lee trimmer in a shell holder for trim length with a battery operated drill. After resizing I simply give em a quick spin with a paper towel wrapped around it.
 
I know some don't lube the inside of the necks, but I very lightly lube the inside and outside of the necks. I feel it reduces the odds of sticking a case in the die, and it also reduces the amount of stretch and chatter when the expander button is being pulled out. But thats me?
