Lyman T Mag press

Quick question for owners of this press:

From a USER viewpoint, how does the older T-Mag compare to the newer T-Mag II?

Is a new T-Mag II worth the cost difference if a LNIB T-Mag is available for somewhere between $30-$50? The best price I've seen on the T-Mag II press is $125 from Midway.

I have and use a Lyman T-Mag press. I do not have the new version so I cannot compare the 2 of them. I have had the older press for several years and use it exclusively for full length resizing (small base) rifle cases. It has always performed satisfactorily for me. Quantrill

I've heard nothing but good about the T-Mag. Especially for general shooting & hunting.

For Match Grade ammo, the Redding turret might be a better bet............that sucker is STURDY!!! Costs about $50 more too

but for anything else..............I don't think you would be disappointed with the T-Mag.

I had an old, now a new. I do all my match loads for rifle on it plus 357 Sig. I love it and will get my son one. I use an RCBS Pro 2000 for 9mm and 40 Short and Weak.
