If you don't like quiz questions please go no further. Thanks

Gentlemen,
In April of 1940, with WW2 already going on in Europe, Ordnance was asked the following:

"..for the present strength Regular Army and the National Guard of 462,000 men"

How many M1 Garand Rifles would be needed to arm that force. Remember, the M1 Carbine had not been built yet. However, there were other Ordnance Rifles issued.
Again just try to take a guess a "ballpark figure".
Need just one hit to each site. Updates to both sites this week maybe late today with Specia Data on .30 cal ammo.

ps need hits again On my sites just one each. I know it's a pain but it's better than asking you guys for donations.

Maybe if you posted all these questions on your own site instead of spamming Oleg's board with them, you'd get hits. Something to ponder.

MMcCall - kinda rude, don't you think?

Apparently your definition of 'spam' and mine are quite different. Questions and quizzes on one of the most historical firearms in the world on a firearms board are hardly spam. They are most welcome here.

Nice, real nice!

Spam? :scrutiny:

Forget him, Clancy. I, too, like your U.S. military armory quizzes. Keep 'em coming!

I agree with Mal H
These quizzes don't fit any definition of "Spam" I've seen.

- - Your quizzes are indeed welcome here. Continue them or don't, at your option.

Sorry it took me so long to read this thread.
