I am looking for a M1A or M14 parts kit, does anyone know where I can purchase one?

I'm sure someone will have what you need, but be prepared for a premium. Since the CMP ran out of M14 parts, the days of $35 op rods and trigger groups are over. Expect to pay around $1000 for a nice condition parts kit.
Unless you have already purchased a receiver that you need to build, if you are patient and not in a big hurry, my advice is to look for an older, lightly used M1A made about 10 years or so back. It will most likely be stuffed full of GI parts and you might find that you won't pay that much more for a complete rifle than buying a parts kit at today's prices.

If time isn't an issue check gun shows. I bought some m14 parts at gun shows and sometimes for pretty decent prices like $75 for a Like New USGI bolt. Or you may find an older M1A like mentioned above.
Also check out LRB arms. Prices are higher than gun show prices however.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. I don't mind paying the premium. I am well aware that they are around $1000 for the parts kit, and am basically wasting my money paying for the parts kit; but the parts kit is all I am interested in, I do not need a receiver, bbl, or stock.
The gun shows around MI are worthless, vendors have nothing and know nothing.

If it helps you at all the M1A's you are looking for have a serial # prior to about 96500. (at least that's what my research seems to indicate)

I may have a source for several USGI parts kits. Most are complete or missing one or two piece. I have to get a price from the owner.
As noted, all original GI, so they won't be cheap. Need to check the manufacturer, but I think most are TRW.
