Seen the other thread with questions on the Magpul B.A.D. so I thought I would start this thread with some pics of the B.A.D. installed on my rifle. The B.A.D. itself is aluminium and clamps around your paddle style bolt release. I find the B.A.D. actuated with less force than the mag well style bolt releases on the Rock River and Bushmaster AR10 style rifles. I think the design of the Magpul lever gives a little more leverage meaning you just have to use light force to actuate the bolt release. Hope the pictures answer any of yall's questions.

thanks...in the other thread it seemed like various people weren't sure how it worked so this should illustrate things nicely.

Some may find it unnecessary buy I love mine and having the ability to be able to lock the bolt back

I love the B.A.D. lever. I have heard a few people complain about it, however it seems to me that people who have had training seem to find them very easy to use while recreational shooter tend to not like them as much. I have them on 2 of my carbines and will probably be getting them for all eventually.

I will be installing the BAD Lever on all my rifles, after using it on a couple while teaching a class last weekend. It simply rocks. The BAD removes removes steps from the AR's manual of arms and makes operating it more efficient.
