I'm starting to see a lot of stuff out there (components included) made by Magtech. What is the quality like compared to say Remington or Winchester?

I take it this is Brazilian stuff, no?

I got some once fired 38 special magtech brass from Wideners a while back. Seems to be pretty good brass all in all.

Go Magtech Go!

I shoot a lot of Magtech product. I start off using the factory rounds and then gahter the brass to reload. I use their SWC bullets for reloading, until I was notified today that Cabelas will no longer be stocking the SWC. Just when I got the darn reloads tuned for the SWC too. I have not used their primers, but their factory ammo has never in 4000+ rounds given me a hiccup.

it's good ammo

I have shot lots of it in 45, and its good, accurate, and fairly clean. I buy it when I find it.

I've had good luck with their ammo and their brass . ..don't know if it's true but their .45 acp brass seems more 'workable' to me. I can't qualify why I feel that but it just seems like it goes through my dies easier etc. The batch I had last year went through 7 reloading cycles before I donated it to a buddy who is just getting started and I had no issues with it at all.

Just my .02

Regards,
Dave
