maintenance for sig p229 while cc

Looking for advice on what I should be doing to take care of a sig 229 while using it as my ccw. I am going to carry it iwb. How often should I clean it, what is a good lube to use on the rails & the gun? Are the hogue grips to thick to use for cc?

if i have a carry gun that i shoot which most of them i do then i clean them totally throughout when i return from the range, if it is a gun that has just been carried and not shot then i just check it every so often to make sure it is in good order. ie if there is lent and or dust and such then i will wipe that off, but normally i don't run in to any problems with a gun that has been carried especially inside the waistband, just keep it wiped down. if it is hot and i know i have been sweating all over it than i will wipe it down with some g-96. as far as the rails go and good lube, clp, mili tec, or spray on g96 etc.
