Manufacturers staying cautious

This is the classic work your guys to death situation in manufacturing. The company is afraid to hire so everybody has to work more hours and run more machines. The few talented machinist are worn out even in the age of CNC machines.

While this is true, it's better than the situation for those folks who are still unemployed or working limited hours, especially those in the service industry like waitstaff, kitchen help, bartenders and other so called "non-essential" jobs due to this same scenario. Regardless of November's election results, this unprecedented run on firearms and ammo will come to an end and the lull will mean no more overtime/comp time for those folks taking advantage of it now. Personally, I'd enjoy it while I could.

I would like to ensure the manufacturers that if they ramp up production I will buy all of their excess ammo and primers when this is over...:D

Kinda what a lot of folks said when they wanted Colt to bring back the Python. Funny, only decent revolver left in the handgun case at my LGS is a new Python with it's $1500 MSRP on it.:scrutiny:
