I don’t know exactly when this one was made, but I know it is real old.
I also know out of all my modern knives, it is the one I still go too when meat needs cutting.

It sharpens easily, and holds a shaving edge through a deer, or a big slab of pork ribs.

The factory sheath was rotted so I made this one for it.

Marbles Woodcraft style homemade knife
I purchased the Solingen carbon steel blade from TKMS in 2003.

I added the file work, brass guard & butt cap, and Ebony & Rosewood handle with yellow & black spacers.

Force-fit Sheath has old school style simple carving and black die finish.
It looked a lot better in person then it does in this photo.

I have a Marbles just like that one that my grandfather carried through WWII. It will take an edge.

Great knife! I have a relativly new USA one that was made just before the original Marbles got bought out and production moved overseas.
