Saiga fans,
Somewhere, can't find it now, I read that the 21" versions of the Saiga .308 were less consistently accurate than the 16" versions. Can anyone post or point to definitive evidence that this is the case, and not just hearsay? I'm specifically referring to the .308 version, NOT the 5.56 or 7.62x39 versions.
It seems a shame to lose the extra velocity out of a .308 cartridge if I didn't have to. If anybody knows, please weigh in. The guys over at AK47 are mute on the subject.
